Hundreds of aviation stakeholders from within and outside the country will converge in Lagos today (Monday) for a conference being jointly put together by aircraft manufacturer, Boeing Company, Aviation and Aerospace Development Foundation (AADF) and Springfountain.
The conference is aimed at harmonising thoughts towards addressing the gaps in aviation, aerospace education and infrastructure in Nigeria.
AADF Director and the conference coordinator, Mr. Kayode Ariwodola, explained that the forum sought to provide a veritable platform through which the entire spectrum of the industry was reviewed and addressed, particularly with regard to issues bordering on aviation education and aerospace education infrastructure in Africa’s most populous country.
The AADF Director said: “It shall also serve as a rallying point for the commencement of a catch-them-young programme for aviation.”
