Reckitt Benkiser chief lauds Ogun’s friendly business policies

Reckitt Benkiser’s Vice President for Africa, Mr. Ata Sadfar, on Friday lauded the business friendly policies of the Governor Ibikunle Amosun-led government in Ogun State, saying that it is appreciated worldwide.

Sadfar, who led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the governor in his Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta office, as part of activities to mark the World Health Day, commended the government for improving the ease of doing business in the state.

On his part, Chairman of the company, Chief Olu Falomo, acknowledged the efforts of the Amosun administration, especially in the area of providing an enabling environment for investors.

Responding, Amosun, who disclosed that the state has attracted 75 percent Direct Foreign Investment (DFI) because of its friendly business policies, noted that his government would do more to attract investments.

While noting the importance of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in driving the economy, he thanked the company for identifying with the state, particularly in the area of maintaining good and healthy hygiene.

The governor charged the company to do more in the area of capacity building, through technical and vocational training for the people.
