Lagos, June 18, 2023 (NAN) Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on Sunday celebrated Fathers, saying that they play vital role in shaping the future of the society.
Sanwo-Olu, commemorating the International Father’s Day, on his Facebook page, said that Fathers are dedicated and make sacrifices for their families and communities.
Father’s Day is celebrated every third Sunday of the month of June to honour fathers.
”On this Father’s Day, I want to take a moment to honor and celebrate all the dads in Lagos State.
”I have seen firsthand the tireless dedication and sacrifice that fathers make for their families and communities.
”Whether it’s working long hours to provide for their loved ones, showing love, care and giving counsel or simply being a positive role model, dads play a vital role in shaping the future of our society.
”So to all the fathers out there, thank you for your unwavering love and commitment. Happy Father’s Day!,” he said. (NAN)
