Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh has appointed Philip Kyanet as the new Head, Corporate Communications.
Kyanet an Assistant Director replaces Isichei Osamgbi who has been moved to the Department of Special Duties.
According to inside sources, the new posting is not unconnected with the present reorganisation within the top management cadre of the agency, leading to the redeployment of some directors.
Kyanet is a dedicated staff of the communications department since the days of the defunct National Maritime Authority NMA and boasts lots of experience and professionalism to rightly position the new management and NIMASA.
Industry stakeholders believe that Kyanet, with an unassuming disposition is a great asset to the new management and will provide the rallying point for advancing the interest of the organisation to the next level at this critical time in the nation’s fragile economy.
