As COVID-19 cases in Nigeria jump daily, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said as majority shareholder of Agura Hotels, Abuja, it has agreed with other shareholders to donate the 130-bedfully furnished hotel as isolation centre to treat patients in the nation’s capital.
A statement signed by Jatto A Adams, General Manager Corporate and Strategic Communications, said, “This is a social responsibility initiative aimed at supporting efforts of the Federal Government to contain the spread of the virus in Nigeria.
It also noted, “The Authority encourages all Nigerians to follow all advisories issued by the National Centre for Disease Control and be confident that Nigeria shall overcome.”
