Continental farm tyre techHanover, Germany—A little more than two years after it confirmed plans to re-enter the farm tyre market, Continental AG has launched its first two standard ag tyres, the Tractor 70 and 85, and said they’d be available in North American this summer.
The premium radial drive tyres are available initially in 14 sizes, a fraction of the 100 sizes Conti said it will offer in its radial and bias-ply tyre portfolio by 2019.
It is expected that the tyre company will ensure the product gets to Nigerian market because of the country’s new found love for agriculture. Besides the tyre company has reasonable presence in the Nigerian market (European Rubber Journal)
